What races are conducted Ski Winter Olympics?
Can you feel the excitement in the air? The Olympic Games Winter is almost here! Lindsey Vonn and other members of the Ski Team America is ready for gold in Vancouver. I'm kind of skier who cares only get to the bottom of the hill – safely. Looking at the tips of my skis rented on the edge of the earth (it feels like it) and pray So when I finally reach the bottom, all my limbs are still attached. I'm not talented enough to worry about things like the style or method. However, whenever the Olympics Winter come around, I'm glued to the TV anticipating thesis athletes ridiculously dressed down the mountain. I admit that sometimes I look in one of those colorful costumes covered the mountain at the speed of light, knowing that I 'M on gold. I love the incredible spectacle that alpine racing has become. Right?
We will start the event aptly named descent. The objective here is pretty simple: Get your skis, they point to the bottom of the hill and get there faster anyone else crazy enough to be engaged in the same competition. Whether above the target ably simplifies the course that is covered by ice boundary of a piece and tied with cords and stomach-dropping jumps. Oh, and the course is 2 miles long, so be prepared. In giant slalom, the gates are farther apart, allowing the skier to take wider turns as they move for the course. Even the rules apply for gold, 2 works in two different ways. The fasting time is the winner.
Well, now that your legs are burning all these towers is the Super G, giant slalom and super, a specialty for the United States Lindsey Vonn. This event is a hybrid of descent (Go fast, young go fast) and the giant slalom event ('m going to go so fast?). This course will be in Vancouver longer than that used for the giant slalom, but not as long as used in the fall, and the good news is that you should only do this once. Again it is all about speed. The best time is to win the gold.
Finally – the Super Combined. Named because it combines the downhill and slalom. In this case, skiers get a shot at a time on the road downhill and slalom, and the winner is the one with the fastest time combined. It's here. Start intensive skiing. How do you feel your legs? Most skiers focus on one or two events. Be sure to keep an eye on Lindsey Vonn in Vancouver. It will be challenging the ice, speed and cornering to compete in five cases of the Alps. It is true, you heard me all 5. The spa is thus people.
